LOW-E (STANDARD)
Our standard window, Andersen® 400 Series Low-E4® windows, offer optimal energy performance and comfort. Low-E4 glass reflects heat in the summer and helps keep heat inside in the winter, making this a good choice in climates where both heating and cooling costs are a concern.
Additional glass performance options include SmartSun™ glass, which blocks 95% of the sun's harmful UV rays. SmartSun glass is a slightly tinted insulating glass unit with a triple silver, low emissivity SmartSun™ coating. The SmartSun™ coating selectively filters the sun’s rays allowing high visible light transmittance, but low infrared transmittance. A low maintenance (titanium dioxide), Neat®, coating is applied to one of the window surfaces, which helps the glass stay cleaner longer, and reduces water spots.
PassiveSun™ glass, which brings the heat from the sunlight into your home, is another option. Check with your REAL LOG HOMES® Independent Rep for glass options that make your Andersen® products ENERGY STAR® certified in your area.
ANDERSEN® GRILLES
Durable pre-finished grilles are available as an optional upgrade to your Andersen windows and will add a quaint charm to your home. Custom grille patterns and colors are available with a natural interior and pre-finished exterior color.
ANDERSEN® SUN
Available as an upgrade, Andersen high-performance glass is up to 41% more efficient than ordinary double-pane glass. This glazing option delivers optimum insulating performance.
Other window options, including Pella® and Marvin® Windows, are also available.
